MobileDemand Explains IP Ratings for the Tablet PC

Ever wondered what exactly the Tablet PC IP ratings mean?

Ingress Protection (IP) ratings are developed by the European Committee for Electro Technical Standardization and are used to specify the environmental protection of the electrical equipment. IP ratings normally have two numbers; the first number represents the amount of protection the device has from solid objects or materials and the second number signifies the amount of protection from liquids.
