“MobileDemand experienced solid growth in 2010 and we are on a similar trajectory this year. Brian also brings a wealth of experience in helping companies improve productivity by deploying mobile computing technologies. In addition he has a proven track record of building powerful channel partner ecosystems. We are fortunate to have them join our team,” says MobileDemand President Matt Miller.

Beans will be responsible for developing MobileDemand’s channel sales strategy and recruiting vertical market resellers, ISVs and other partners to build sales and better serve customers in industries and regions of focus.

“This is a great opportunity,” Zink says. “The MobileDemand xTablet Tablet PC products are purpose-built and provide the ideal combination of power, functionality and brute ruggedness needed to serve mobile workers throughout the supply chain. The xTablet is a great alternative to handhelds for Food and Beverage Distribution and Field Sales and Service; and laptops for Military and Public Sector, Manufacturing and Retail Warehousing. By selecting partners with vertical market expertise we can put more feet on the street which will steadily increase sales. Plus, it is refreshing to work for a company that has the agility and willingness to work with partners and customers to address specific challenges. Companies want to do more work at the point of interaction and the MobileDemand xTablets provide the ideal solution to get the job done,” Beans continues.
