Microsoft to Feature xTablet T8650 at COMPUTEX
This morning MobileDemand announced the xTablet T8650, the first-to-market rugged tablet with a 3D camera. The xTablet T8650 revolutionizes how businesses can create photorealistic 3D models of their subject as well as near field automatic measurements.
As a truly groundbreaking and innovative device, the rugged xTablet T8650 will be featured in Microsoft’s keynote speech at the 2016 COMPUTEX Expo in Taipei. The speech, titled "Enabling Modern Windows Devices and Experiences", will showcase a range of OEM Windows 10 devices and how they are enabling people and businesses to achieve more. Nick Parker, Corporate VP of the OEM Division will lead the keynote. With the xTablet T8650, Nick and colleagues will demonstrate the device's easy ability to use the 3D camera to capture volume of a box.
With the T8650, users can capture depth-based images for applications such as volume dimensioning, measurements, scene capture and much more. The camera has multiple image sensors allowing depth sensing to see the world in 3D much like humans do.
Microsoft will also be giving hands-on demonstrations of the xTablet T8650 at their COMPUTEX booth.
