MobileDemand Hosts Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds for Legislation-Signing Ceremony

This afternoon MobileDemand hosted Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, several members of the Iowa Legislature, invited guests, and members of the media at MobileDemand’s headquarters. Gov. Reynolds was in Hiawatha to sign legislation cutting Iowans’ income taxes by $2.86 billion over six years, one of the largest state tax cut bills in Iowa history.

Matt Miller, MobileDemand’s President and founder, welcomed the crowd, gave an overview of MobileDemand products and the industries we serve, and discussed the benefits of Senate File 2417 (SF 2417). Aurora Coffee Co. owner Aurora Moes was also on hand to talk about why she supports the legislation. Finally, Gov. Reynolds spoke to the crowd of about 75 people and signed the bill.

Following the signing, Gov. Reynolds spent time talking to MobileDemand employees and others in attendance, and thanked everyone for their support. “I signed this bill for every Iowan who works to earn a paycheck and deserves to keep more of it,” said Gov. Reynolds. “It’s one of the reasons why I feel so strongly that government must never forget that it’s the people’s money they’re spending.”
