MobileDemand Launches xTablet® T1150 Featuring Robust Functionality and Durability at a Value Price Point

HIAWATHA, IA – SEPTEMBER 28, 2017MobileDemand, a leading rugged Windows® tablet provider, announced the launch of the xTablet T1150 - rugged innovation for the mobile workforce. The features available make the xTablet T1150 one of the most robust Windows tablets on the market today at a value price point starting at $1,445. The thin, lightweight, highly rugged tablet is an innovative, multi-tasking tool for warehousing, distribution, shipping, retail point-of-sale, and other industries where mobile flexibility is required. The xTablet T1150 boasts a 10-inch scratch-resistant, high definition LCD display.

The rugged tablet runs enterprise-ready Windows 10 Professional, and partners with an Intel Atom Quad Core X5-Z8550 processor, 4GB of memory, and 64GB of storage. Other integration options and accessories of the rugged tablet include a high performance 2D barcode scanner, fingerprint reader, 4G LTE with worldwide carrier support, hot swappable battery, magnetic stripe reader (MSR), and more. MobileDemand also has plans to release an EMV reader (to read and accept chip card data) to complement the MSR for transactions at the point of sale.

“We are pleased to release the xTablet T1150, which we consider to be the big brother to our xTablet T8650,” Matt Miller, Founder and CEO of MobileDemand. “While the T8650 features an 8-inch screen, the T1150 boasts a 10-inch display and leverages a full slate of features and ruggedness, all at a value price point. This combination is unique and embodies our mission to equip the mobile workforce with a variety of productivity tools at their fingertips. The xTablet T1150 represents strong productivity at a value price point.”

The xTablet T1150 meets MIL-STD-810G standards with 5-foot drop and is IP65 sealed to withstand dust, rain and snow. This allows users to get the job done and protect their financial investment. The tablet was also designed with the end user in mind by including ergonomic considerations such as the location of a point-and-shoot scanner activation button to maximize ease-of-use.

The tablet utilizes MobileDemand’s patent pending Snap Mount Rail. The snap mount is a less expensive alternative than traditional docking and allows users to mount their tablet nearly anywhere. An office dock option is also available and will soon include a vehicle mount. This will allow for the device to be securely docked in vehicles for added functionality in the field.

In the future, MobileDemand will also release the Intel® RealSense 410 3D camera option for the xTablet T1150. This will allow the capture of depth-based images for applications such as volume dimensioning, measurements, scene capture, and much more. The camera will feature multiple image sensors, providing depth sensing to see the world in 3D.

The xTablet T1150 is available now for pre-sale. For more information please contact MobileDemand by web at www.RuggedTabletPC.com or by phone at 319-363-4121.
