Inc. Magazine unveils its annual elite list of America’s fasting-growing companies. With a three-year sales growth of 566%, 2013 marks the fifth year on the list for MobileDemand, the nation’s leading provider of Rugged Tablet PC systems in the transportation industry.

This also places MobileDemand as the third fastest growing company in the state of Iowa and the fourth fastest nationally in the category of computer hardware companies. 2013 marks the fifth year on the Inc. 500|5000 list with a 2012 ranking of 1,034, 2,978 in 2011, 1,658 in 2009, and an impressive 2008 debut in the Inc. 500 list at 148.

The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million.
